Wedding Cheese Cakes

Wedding Cheese Cakes are becoming more and more popular. Make your wedding day extra special with a selection of cheeses arranged into a tier. Marie-Antoinette said "let them eat cake!", but we say"with cheese, please!"

These cakes are made to order to your own preferences. To calculate the size of your cake: Single tasting portion per person is about 50 grams of cheese ( 4 or 5 cheeses x 10/12 grams each). This is TASTING Portions, and is NOT giving a slice of each cheese per person!

So for a wedding of 100 people you need 5 kilograms of cheeses; 80 people you would need 4 kilograms; 120 people you would need 6 kilograms; 150 people you would need 7.5 kilograms; 200 people you would need 10 kilograms; 300 people you would need 15 kilograms.

This is an estimate of what would be required, depending on the type of cheese chosen and it's weight, the size would vary.

Cheese selection:

The choice of cheeses available would vary, therefore we recommend contacting us for the in-season availablity, and a pricing quotation. However, selections could include the following: Oisin Mature Goat Gouda, Wicklow Bawn Brie, Smoked Gubbeen, Cashel Blue, Durrus, Cooldaniel Blue, Drumlin Cheese Cumin, Ardrahan cheese..... The list is endless!
