Cheese Tasting

New Cheese tasting at our stall in the English Market, on Friday 28th April at 11.30am. The tasting will include a Young Pecorino and a Fresh Sheep's Milk Ricotta. The cheesemaker Vincenzo has suggested that the Ricotta can have both sweet and savour accompaniments, it's a cheese for all occasions!! Vincenzo is located in Inchigeela, Co. Cork, with his herd of sheep.

Glebe Brethan Cheese is back in our display since TODAY!!

Just got a small delivery from Mairead Tiernan on monday: 40 kg (1 wheel only!!) of the most perfect, smooth looking, nutty long-lasting taste  - 18 months old Glebe Brethan. Made by David Tiernan who tragically died nearly a year ago, this is an exceptional  cheese and is a consecration of  David's talent. Glebe Brethan is an artisan cheese made from unpasteurised Montbeliarde cows’ milk at the Tiernan Family Farm, Dunleer, Co. Louth, Ireland.
