Blas Na hEireann 2015 - Gold Medal for On the Pigs back Terrine!!

                            Our New 'Spiced Pork Terrine with Apricots & Figs' won the Gold Medal at the Irish Food Awards in Dingle in 2015!! It's a great achievement to get the Gold Medal 2 years in-a-row!! It's a new Terrine that is part of our new Christmas Range, together with the Duck Liver Pate with Cranberries.  They completed very well the existing range of Terrines : Pork & Plum Terrine (Silver 2014 in Blas na hEireann - 1 star at the Great Taste Awards 2013), Venison terrine with Raisins & Ginger, Pate Forestier...

Irish Food Writers' Guild  Award for On The Pigs Back Pates & Terrines!       What a fab day at ‪#‎IFWGFoodAwards‬ with lots of happy - and worthy - winners, and a wonderful job as always by Derry Clarke and the team at L'Ecrivain Restaurant on the menu. More pics to come, but I think the smiling face of Isabelle Sheridan - of Cork’sOn the Pig's Back, whose pâtés and terrines were among today’s winners - captures it nicely.
